Understanding Sync Test Process

The sync test is a simple way to become familiar with the sync process prior to the event, and to determine connectivity between your computer and the Auctionpay Master terminal. The sync test should be performed several days prior to the event.

During the sync test, the Auctionpay Master terminal is connected to the primary event computer running the event management software. A test bidder number is entered into the Auctionpay terminal and then Sync 1 is performed. Once the sync is complete, the successful transfer of data can be confirmed. Instruction on manually marking guests as Express Pay are also included.

Sync 1

Sync 1, which is performed at the end of event registration is the only sync step required during the event. The purpose is to import a list of Express Pay bidders into the event management software from the Auctionpay Master terminal.
